It’s Who I Am. These four words have come to mean so much to Katie and the team. Through the partnership with the International Down Syndrome Coalition, we have been able to share in the excitement of World Down Syndrome Day in so many ways…

  • We designed a guitar strap for Sarah Conant, who is the featured artist for WDSC.
  • We participated in a cool photo shoot with Cindy Thymius.
  • Best of all, we’ve developed a wonderful friendship with IDSC’s co-founder, Diane Grover.

We’re very moved by Diane’s story, her passion for individuals with Down Syndrome and her deep love for her daughter. That’s why we’re excited to announce a new handbag and strap style to support the IDSC. We’ll donate 25% of the proceeds from sales of the handbag and strap to the IDSC.

We’ve named the handbag after Diane’s sweet daughter, MaryEllen. The “Who I Am” strap is based on our design of Sarah Conant’s guitar strap and represents strength, determination and willpower. You can purchase the handbag and strap at www.katiekalsi.com. We can’t wait to see these straps and handbags on the shoulders of our fans!
